Optos captures an ultra-wide digital image of the inside of your eye, allowing us to see up to 200 degrees of your retina in a single image—far more than traditional retinal photography.
Many eye diseases begin in the far edges of the retina, where they may go unnoticed during a standard examination. Ultra-widefield imaging helps us detect problems earlier and monitor changes over time.
Views up to 200° of the retina in one image
Early detection of retinal tears, retinal detachments, diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other eye conditions
Digital images allow us to compare changes year after year
Often reduces the need for dilation during routine examinations*
*Some patients may still require dilation depending on their individual eye health.
